We are facing significant pressure from cyclone recovery, under-investment, and rising costs, which means we must make difficult decisions about where to spend and how to manage rates. Following our district's high voter turnout in 2025, we want to maintain that momentum by having you tell us which core services and priorities matter most so we can make the right calls for our community.

But here’s the reality — Council delivers a wide range of services, and they all cost money. If we want to keep rates down, we can’t do everything. That means making some tough choices about what stays, what gets reduced, and what might need to wait.
