This site is owned and operated by Central Hawke's Bay District Council using software licensed from Social Pinpoint. Central Hawke’s Bay District Council protects the privacy of website users. The collection, storage and use of personal information is covered by the Privacy Act 2020 and its subsequent amendments. The Privacy Act sets out 12 basic principles covering the collection, retention, use and disclosure of personal information.

For the purposes of this consultation you feedback will be collected via the online survey on this site. Here you will be asked asked a number of questions and will be provided an opportunity to provide your feedback. This information will be held in confidence. Your first and last name along with your feedback may be presented to the Central Hawke’s Bay District Council Elected members by way of a publicly available report. All other information requested in the survey will not be used in any public domain.

You can request access to the information an organisation holds about you. This request can be either verbal or in writing. The organisation must make a decision regarding your request and notify you of that decision as soon as practical, and not later than 20 days of receiving your request. In certain circumstances organisations can extend the time limit but they have to give you notice that this is being done. Once you have your information you may request any errors to be corrected.

Can your account be suspended or terminated?

We may terminate or suspend access to your site and/or account immediately, without prior notice, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. We may immediately deactivate or delete your account and all the related files and information in your account. After your account has been terminated, the content you have posted may also remain indefinitely on the site.

Indemnification

Central Hawke's Bay District Council, its subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, licensors and other partners are not responsible for any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including legal fees, made by any third party due to or arising from a breach of this agreement and/or any breach of your representations and warranties set forth above.

What content do we own?

This website contains the copyrighted material, trademarks, patents, trade secrets and other proprietary information (“Intellectual Property”) of Central Hawke's Bay District Council and its suppliers and licensors. Central Hawke's Bay District Council owns and retains all proprietary rights in the intellectual property. All intellectual property in the content of this site including without limitation to text, software, source code, pages, documents and online graphics, photographs, sounds, audio, video and other interactive features are owned by or licensed to us.

Any original content that you submit or post on our site may be made available to the public and allows users to share your content (with the end user acknowledging your contribution) under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 Australian License.

Except for Intellectual Property which is in the public domain or for which you have been given written permission, you may not copy, alter, transmit, sell, distribute any of the Intellectual Property on this site.
